The next Tour de France bicycle race may be optimized by iPod apps, according to an article in the Design section of Fast Company magazine.
Speed, altitude, and other racing stats can be tracked with inexpensive apps that run on iPod and iPhone, says the magazine.
Apple calls the whole system “the iBike” and has applied for a patent. You can see the patent drawing in the Fast Company article.
And we thought we had seen everything?
