When the ios4 update comes out for iPhone and I update my 3gs, will this unjail break my iphone?
I currently have a 3gs model, but I’m going to update when the ios4 software comes out so to get multitasking etc… Problem is I’ve jailbroken my iPhone to get apps like cydia and winterboard and installous where I’ve downloaded loads of free games and stuff. I’m wondering when I update to ios4 software will it delete all my jailbroken apps on my 3gs?

The jailbreak will be removed as well as Cydia and any apps installed using Cydia but apps installed using Installous (cracked apps) will NOT be deleted but your phone will need to be rejailbroken in order to sync the cracked apps back to your phone.

Can a iPhone running ios4 be unlocked with out jailbreaking?
I have a iPhone 3g and my phone is unlocked and jailbroken on ios4 but it is terribly slow and I believe that the jailbreak is doing this. Is there a way to just unlock my phone instead of jailbreaking?

The 3g is slow on iOS4. Jailbreaking makes it worse. However, only AT&T can unlock an iPhone without a jailbreak and AT&T has a corporate policy that they will not unlock any iPhone for anyone for any reason.

Yesterday i updated my iphone 3g to ios4 and jailbreaked it. But then i wanted to use my “vodafone” sim card, so i used cydia and downloaded ultrasn0w to unlock the iphone it didnt work. I tried this 3-4 times but it didnt work. Please suggest me some tips to unloack my iphone please..
