Are free apps on the iphone actually free?
This might be a stupid question lol but I just want to make sure. My boyfriend goes through Telus and says no matter what he has to pay 50 cents for every download he gets, even if it says free. So I’m just wondering if the same applies to the iphone free apps.

If you’re using EDGE/3G or GPRS those charges are coming from using those. Not the Apple download. The Apple free downloads are just that. Free.
