I am getting a new computer and I want to get iTunes on it and sync my iPod with my new computer. Will I loose my apps on my iPod when I transfer it.

The thing is, I have lots of apps on my ipod 3g. But, my friend would like some. So, I know that if I can sync them onto my itunes, then he can plug his ipod into my computer and upload them off of my itunes. The problem is, all of my apps were bought off of the app store on my ipod. How do I sync the apps to my itunes on my computer?
