Your Questions About Ipod Nano

Richard asks…

Ipod Nano?

Oky, so i am about to sell my mp3 player and get a ipod instead. But i can’t decide whether to buy the ipod nano 2nd generation or the ipod nano 3rd generation. i’ve heard that the 3rd generation is wide and feels awkward in the hand. But then again i’ve heard the price of the ipod nano 2nd is more expensive than the 3rd generation. Which one should i get? I have about 1300 songs and im not planning on stopping there. I dont care for videos, im just using it for music. I like the big screen on the 3rd generation but i like the way the 2nd one feels in the hand.

I just bought a 3rd gen nano to replace my older nano and greatly prefer the new one over the old. The 3rd generation nano is even smaller than it looks in the ads. I would try going to stores and trying out each one if you are worried it will feel too awkward. The new nano has a larger, brighter, and sharper screen. The new cover flow feature is also a plus. So I would recommend that you get the 3rd generation, but in the end its all up to what you like the most.

My phone has 4gb memory. $50 more and you can get an 8gb. Do yourself a favor and spring for the 8gig player.

Daniel asks…

ipod nano?

I asked for a 3rd generation ipod nano for christmas, so im wondering a few things about it….

Is it good?
Is it durable/does it break or freeze easily?
How long does your battery really last?
Is it easy to get videos on?
Do you have to buy every song you put on there?
Can you only use itunes to get music on there?
Will it only work with special ipod headphones?
Is the battery rechargeable?
and overall would you recommend it?

thanks, im like totally new with anything ipod related. haha

I love my new nano! I upgraded from the first generation, and i am so glad i did. I have had issues with mine freezing, and it will stop working for a day or so then start working again. I will listen to music and play Solitaire, and I can get a good 8 hours or so off of that (and the games kill the battery). Videos- still figuring that out! Most of my songs are from my CDs i already owned, but buying iTunes is reasonably cheap, so yeah. You have to have everything (music, videos, pics) in iTunes, but you can buy off of other sites. Most normal headphones work with iPods- many people don’t recommend using the white ones, because it is a tip-off to thieves. The battery is rechargable. I would totally recommend it- it’s sooo amazingly awsum!
